Logan Blackmon of Waterproof and Cade Williams of Jonesville exchanged wedding vows at six o’clock in the evening on Saturday, April 16, 2016, overlooking the Mississippi River at the Hotel Vue in Natchez, Mississippi.
Parents of the couple are Ben and Kim Blackmon of Waterproof and Bubba and Rhonda Williams of Jonesville.
Aaron Jolly of Jonesville officiated the ceremony. Music was provided by Cary Collier and Deanie Collier.
Vows were exchanged under a pergola which was handmade by the bride’s father and special friend Cary Collier for the occasion. The pergola, draped with white organza, was accented throughout with candle light. Two white lanterns were placed on either side of the entrance, which was pulled back with bouquets of hydrangeas, pink roses and white peonies. The couple’s initials, hung with burlap and ribbon, served as a back drop in the pergola; three white chandeliers were used to light the ceremony.
Given in marriage by her father, Miss Blackmon wore an all lace bridal gown by Mikaella with a removable lace ribbon at the natural waist. The sleeveless gown featured an illusion lace bateau neckline, with a deep low back. The gown was accented with a sweep train.
Lauren Hall of Ferriday was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelsea Pounds of Natchez, MS and Hanah Cloessner of Jonesville. They wore floor length dresses in fruit punch color and carried bouquets of hydrangeas and baby’s breath.
Flowergirls were Chloe and Sadie Williams, nieces of the groom.
Serving as best man was Landon Williams, brother of the groom of Jonesville.
Groomsmen were Riley Williams and Tate Williams, brothers of the groom, both of Jonesville and Jacob Holloway of Harrisonburg.
Ringbearer was Beaux Williams, nephew of the groom.
Ushers were Kyle Blackmon, brother of the bride of Waterproof, Hayden Patt, cousin of the bride of Ferriday, Jake Rutledge, cousin of the groom of Jonesville and William Saul.
A reception was held following the ceremony at The Gables in Vidalia. Each table held glowing candle lanterns and crystal jars which featured wooden boxes with fresh greenery, hydrangeas and pink roses.
A four-tiered wedding cake, accented with all shades of fresh pink roses, was centered on the bride’s table.
The groom’s table featured a three-tiered cake with a duck hunting theme.
A memory table held photographs of loved ones who were unable to attend the wedding.
The couple traveled to Winterpark , Colorado where they enjoyed snow skiing.
The bride is employed with Catahoula Parish Hospital District 2 and the groom is employed with Christus St. Francis Cabrini in Alexandria as a registered respiratory therapist.
