Graveside  service for Annette Gant Bennett, 82, of Vidalia, were held Friday, March 1, 2019, at Lake Wood Memorial Park Cemetery in Clinton, MS under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.

Annette Bennett was born on Monday, January 11, 1937 in Vaiden, MS and passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday.

Peggy Ezell Cornwell

Funeral services for Peggy Ezell Cornwell, 63, of Ferriday, were held Monday, March 4, 2019, at Miss-Lou Pentecostal Church with Bro. Gary Howington, Bro. Jeremy Howington, and Bro. Marrell Cornwell officiating.  Interment followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.

Peggy Ezell Cornwell was born on Sunday, March 13, 1955 in Natchez, MS and passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 in Ferriday.

She was preceded in death by her parents Johnnie and Helen Ezell and brother Richard Ezell.

Survivors include her husband of nine years Jack Cornwell, Sr.; sister Deloise Blakely and her husband Joe; sister-in-law Melissa Myers Ezell; step-son Jackie Cornwell, Jr.; two step-daughters Candy Cornwell and Shannon Green and her husband Freddy; niece Connie Lovell and her husband Greg; nephew Mickey King and his wife Shane; great-nieces, Misty Thompson, Kendra Wells and her husband Stephen, and Makenzie King; two great-nephews, Dillon King and his wife Emma and Tanner King; uncle Robert Myers; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers were Dillon King, Jerry Myers, Cory Myers, Chris Groh, Leslie Vincent, and Stephen Wells.

Honorary pallbearers were Tanner King and Dr. Huey Moak.

Catherine Marie Evans

Funeral services for Catherine Marie Evans, 59, of Parhams, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Parhams Baptist Church with the Rev. Toney Ganey officiating. Interment will follow at Parhams Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home-Jonesville.

The family will receive friends from noon until service time at 2 p.m. at the church.

Catherine was born on February 10, 1960 and passed away March 4, 2019.

Funeral services for Casey Joe Lipsey of Monterey, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2019 at New Era Baptist Church with Bro. Dennis Baker, Bro. Dustin Davis and Bro. Ritchie Barrett officiating. Interment will follow at New Era Baptist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.

Casey Joe Lipsey was born on Friday, November 21, 1975 in Natchez, MS and passed away March 3, 2019. He was a resident of Monterey and a member of New Era Baptist Church. He loved to hunt, fish and work.

Casey was preceded in death by grandfather Houma Lipsey; Uncle Rex Burget; cousin Tracy Burget, and Little Uel Beard,

Survivors include his parents, Kaye and Lanny Lipsey; brother Travis Lipsey and wife Lee Anne; niece and nephew, Allison and Bronson Lipsey; grandmother, Sadie Lipsey; maternal grandparents George and Goldie Stone; uncle and aunt, Jerry and Meta Lipsey; aunt Sandy Burget; uncle and aunt, Uel and Gina Beard; aunt and uncle, Georgie and Winnfield Ward; aunt Frances Masters; four cousins, Brad Burget, Lana McCall, Sam Ward and Wendy Ferguson.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Poole, Roger Mount, Don Hamilton, Dusty Crum, Sam Ward and Durk Brown.

Carl Wayne Wagley Sr.

Funeral services for Carl Wayne Wagley Sr., 72, of Clayton were held Monday, March 4, 2019 at the Clayton Apostolic Church in Clayton with Rev. Milton Rushing officiating. Burial followed in the Merriett Family Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Mr. Wagley was born Nov. 13, 1946 in Ferriday and passed away Feb. 28, 2019 at his residence.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Carl Lee Wagley and Merceds Babin Wagley; one son Carl Wayne Wagley Jr.; one sister Linda Kimball; three brothers, Glen Wagley, Paul Wagley and Bruce Wagley.

Survivors include his wife Edna Faye Wagley; one daughter Linda Smith; one son Christopher Wayne Wagley; one step-son William N. Merriett; one brother Billy Joe Wagley; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
