St. Frederick’s softball team scored 11 runs over the final three innings in a 15-8 win over Delta Charter Thursday in Ferriday.

The Lady Warriors out-hit DCS 13-12. St. Fred had five errors to four for Delta Charter.

Jaden Boydstun and Sophie Cooper had four hits each for Delta Charter.

Sydney Burns walked twice.

The Lady Storm split two games at the Forest Tournament, defeating Glenmora 9-4 as Jaden Boydstun struck out six.

Skylar Bolyer doubled twice, while Jaden Bolyer singled twice, Skylar Hawley tripled and Alexis Yates doubled. Sophie Cooper walked twice.

Delta charter fell to Forest 11-1 Saturday.

Tierra Jefferson tripled, while Bolyer singled for DCS.

“I believe we are getting better,” said Delta Charter coach Jeanie Beach. “There’s been a couple of games we should have won. But the kids have worked hard. I believe we are continuing to get better.”
