Eight baseball players from Family Community Christian School received all district honors for District 2B, said head coach TJ Weed.
Additionally, Mason Bordelon was named District MVP for the 2019 season.
Bordelon posted a 2-2 record while on the pitching mound with a 3.21 ERA and struck out 24 batters.
Offensively, Bordelon put up 32 hits which included 10 doubles. He also had 22 RBI and had an on base percentage of .450 and a .368 batter average for the season.
Receiving first team all district honors were: Bordelon, Trey Fife, Jagger Smith, Alex McManus and Luke Curtis.
Receiving second team all district honors were: John Riley Graham, Cameron Weems and Christian Rodgers.
Joe Price was named to the Academic All State list.
The Warriors won 17 games, the most in FCCS’s history, this season before losing to Northside Christian, 4-3, in the semi-finals of the LHSAA playoffs.
