The Seventh Annual Ferriday Football Camp will be held July 5-6 at Ferriday High School from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m..
Registration is $35.
A Ferriday versus Vidalia alumni nine-man flag football game will be held at Melz Field July 6 at 6:30 p.m.
Camp director Kendrick Harris is adding a 9/10th grade flag football games between schools wanting to participate.
The game will be played earlier in the day Saturday.
“We will donate funds to the winning school,” Harris said.
Past instructors include Alfred Davis, who was born in Ferriday before moving to Georgia Davis played at Arkansas before becoming a graduate assistant. He recently started his new job as defensive line coach at Hutchinson Junior College in Kansas.
Dare Rosenthal, Dantrieze Scott and Davonte Scott are expected to attend as instructors.
Harris is also looking to bring in former Ferriday player, coach and principal James Davis, along with former LSU Tiger Jeremy Lawrence.
The camp will begin July 5 at 9 a.m. as campers meet in the Ferriday High gymnasium.
“Campers need to bring black shorts and cleats,” Harris said.
Besides fundamentals, there will also be competition.
