Franklin Parish Library in Winnsboro released their top books, DVDs and audio books for 2018.

The most checked out book in fiction category, large print was Bound Together by Christine Feehan. Coming in second was Rivers Of The Dawn: A Western Duo by Louis Lamour. Third most checked out book was The Fallen by David Baldacci followed by Stranded: A Story of Frontier Survival by Matthew Mayo then Judgement Road by Christine Feehan.

Morningstar: Growing Up With Books by Ann Hood was the most checked out biography of 2018. The next most popular biography was Hear My Heart: What I Would Say To You by Rev. Billy Graham followed by Fort Autumns: A Family’s Story of Courage And Survival On Both Sides of The Berlin Wall. Next in the list was Where There’s Hope: Healing, Moving Forward And Never Giving Up by Elizabeth Smart then Runaway Amish Girl: The Great Escape by Emma Gingerich.

Oath Of Honor by Lynette Eason took the top spot in Christian Fiction at the Franklin Parish Library in 2018. The Masterpiece by Francine Rivers was the second most checked out book. If I Live by Terri Blackstock was third most popular Christian fiction book. The View From Rainshadow Bay by Colleen Coble came in fourth and then Plummet: A Novel by Brandlyn Collins.

In the young adult category, Physik by Angie Sage was the most popular book of 2018. Second most popular was Dark Empire II by Tom Veitch followed by Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. Queste by Angie Sage was fourth and making the top five in young adult was The Sword Of Summer by Rick Riordan.

Dark Empire II made another top list in the Graphic Novel category, placing first. Second most popular graphic novel was the Son Of Neptune by Rick Riordan. Another Riordan book, The Lightning Thief, was third most popular. Naruto by Massashi Kishimoto was fourth and rounding out the top five was Ride: Book Four by Patricia Rushford.

Summer Hill Secrets by Beverly Lewis was most popular in Young Adult Christian Fiction. Second most popular was Island Girl by Sandra Byrd. Forgotten: A Novel by Melody Carson was third followed by Wreath by Judy Pace Chistie. Fifth place went to The Trouble With Max by Patricia Rushfor.

The most popular book in the Graphic Novel Juvenile category was Sisters By Raina by Telgemeier. Dog Man Unleashed by Dav Pilkey was second more popular. Third in the list was Dog Man: A Tale of Two Kitties by Pilkey. Sidekicks by Dan Santat followed by Game On! by Jennifer L. Holm finished the list.

Dr. Seuss had four of the top five places in the Juvenile XF category. Green Eggs and Ham, I Can Read With My Eyes Shut, The Cat In The Hat and Fox In Socks all were listed in the top five. Hawaii Pug-O by Michael Olson was the fifth most checked out book in the category.

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid series by Jeff Kinney dominated the Juvenile X category at the Franklin Parish Library. Placing first through fifth was Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul, Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Hard Luck, Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Getaway, Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel and Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever.

There’s A Wocket In My Pocket! by Dr. Seuss was the most popular board book at the Library for 2018. Second most popular book was I Love You Little One: A Touch And Feel Book. Coming in third was Little Dinosaur followed by Edward’s Overwhelming Overnight by Rosemary Wells. Fifth most popular book was Little Bunny.

Most popular DVD checked out from the Franklin Parish Library for 2018 was Hotel Transylvania 2. Goosebumps: The Headless Ghost was second most popular. God’s Not Dead 2 came in third followed by The Star. Fifth most checked out DVD was Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature.

Most popular adult audio CD was Where We Belong, and second most popular audio CD was Too Far Down. The Powder River series came in, third, fourth and fifth in the category.

In the young adult audio CD, Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire was most popular. Second most checked out CD was I Will Always Write Back. To Stay Alive was next followed by Tangerine. Pants On Fire was the fifth most popular.

The Boxcar Children series came in first, second and fifth in the juvenile audio CD category. Adventures In Odyssey: The Grand Design came in third, and The Case Of The Twisted Kitty came in fourth.
