The inaugural South Franklin Car Show will be held in Wisner this Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.

The show will feature classic cars, trucks, motorcycles and antique tractors. The vehicles will be located on Natchez Street which runs parallel to La. Hwy 15.

Organizers are telling visitors to come hungry because several food vendors will be present at the show. Food vendors will include grilled chicken, pulled pork sandwiches, pulled chicken sandwiches, sausage dogs, funnel cakes, cupcakes, lemonade, sno cones and much more.

Additionally, there will be a kid’s zone offering jumping houses.

“We’re very excited about this event,” said Wisner Mayor Mark McCarty. “We are inviting the public to come and enjoy a great day filled with beautiful vehicles, delicious food and a great time.”

There’s still time to enter a vehicle in the show.
