Franklin Parish All-Stars

Baseball and softball players from around Franklin Parish are currently working hard getting ready for various all-star tournaments located throughout northeast Louisiana. Subdistrict and district tournaments are scheduled in late June and early July with state tournaments beginning mid-July and World Series in August.

Coaches are currently on the fields readying their teams and deciding on positions for each player. Teams were chosen in the age groups 12U, 10U, 8U, coach pitch and t-ball.

The 12U all-stars will play their district tournament in Delhi June 29  through July 4.

Coaches for the 12U All-Stars are Chris Hunt and Cody Moroni.

Laken Bradley, Drew Carroll, Caden Gallagher, Garrett Hunt, LaJamiean Johnson, Kaden Liles, Owen McDonald, Luke Nichols, Trip Reeves, Tanner Tarver, Rylan Thomas and Carl Williams will be representing Franklin Parish on the 12U All-Star team.

Guiding the 10U All-Stars will be Jarred Griffing, Micheal Cottingham, Gary Dickson and Justin Rials.

Subdistrict for the 10U All-Stars will be held in Mangham June 22 through 26.

Making the squad were Luke Barfield, Keller Bradley, Jacolby Brooks, Eli Cottingham, Tristan Dickson, Gavin Griffing, Cade Hankins, Cooper Olivier, Jaxson Perry, Elijah Rials, Kaiden Seals and Connor Toler.

Coaching the 8U All-Stars are BJ Jackson, Jordy Blossom, Greg Walker and Alton Johnston.

Selected to play on the team were Brayden Bassett, Bryce Blackmon, Jackson Blossom, Jaxon Dickey, Drew Dickson, Peyton Fuller, Elijah Hunt, Carson Jackson, Arron Johnston, Cammie Lance, Noah McMahon and Baylen Stephenson.

Winnsboro will play host at the 8U district tournament on June 28 through July 1.
