Precision Air held off a late Franklin State Bank surge to win 7-6 in a Ponytail matchup, June 4.
Precision Air put up three points in the first and second inning but stalled in the third as FSB chipped away at the lead throughout the game. FSB made a run in the fourth inning and scored three points to tie the game but Precision Air broke the tie and put a point on the board in the bottom of the fourth.
Precision Air relied on two big hits from Jaidyn Hutchinson in the game. Hutchinson went two-for-three at the plate with a triple and a home run.
Bailey McDonald contributed with a double for Precision Air and Kerrigan Ezell had a hit and two stolen bases.
Montana Wilhite, FSB first baseman, had a hit in the contest.
Tayte Erwin pitched a complete game in the circle for Precision Air. She had four innings, allowed only one hit and struck out eight batters.
Aydenn McCain pitched 3 2/3 innings for FSB. McCain had five strike outs, walked three and allowed four hits.
Farm Bureau 7 - Robinson Auto 4
Farm Bureau used a big six-score first inning to beat Robinson Auto 7-4 on June 4.
Leading the way for Farm Bureau offensively was Karley Curtis. Curtis went two-for-two at the plate with a single and a double and one RBI.
Katie Carson, Megan Barfield and Bella Jones hit a single each in the game.
Karley Ferrington pitched three innings in the circle. Ferrington struck out seven Robinson players and allowed two hits.
The two hits came from a Aydenn McCain triple and Jaylynn Holloway hit. McCain and Holloway also recorded an RBI each for Robinson.
Ava Foster was the pitcher for Robinson’s Auto. She pitched two innings, struck out two and walked none.
