NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the administratrix of this succession has petitioned the court for authority to sell immovable property of the estate unto any qualified buyer at private sale in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure for the price and sum of not less than EIGHTY-NINE THOUSAND AND NO/100 ($89,000.00) DOLLARS cash. The immovable property proposed to be sold is described as follows, to-wit:
A certain lot or parcel of land situated in the NE 1/4 of NE 1/4, Section 30, Township 14 North, Range 7 East, Franklin Parish, Louisiana, described as follows:
Begin at the Southeast corner of the above said NE 1/4 of NE 1/4, and run in a Westerly direction along South boundary of said NE 1/4 of NE 1/4 a distance of 262 feet or to the Southeast corner of that certain lot sold by this Vendor in Conveyance Book 156, page 381; thence in a Northerly direction along the East boundary of said lot sold by this Vendor in Conveyance Book 156, page 381, and being parallel to the East boundary of said NE1/4 of NE 1/4 a distance of 210 feet, and being the Northeast corner of that certain lot sold by this Vendor in Conveyance Book 156, page 381; thence in a Easterly direction parallel with the South boundary of said NE 1/4 of NE 1/4 a distance of 262 feet or to the East boundary of said NE 1/4 of NE 1/4; thence in a Southerly direction along the East boundary of said NE1/4 of NE 1/4 a distance of 210 feet or to the Southeast corner of said NE 1/4 of NE 1/4 and being POINT OF BEGINNING of this lot.

Minutes Library Board Meeting
December 3, 2018
The Franklin Parish Library met in a called meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018. Board President, John Guice called the meeting to order with Jeanette Thompson, Dorothy Brown, and Bill Marionneaux present. JoAnna Hutchinson, auditor, attended the meeting to answer questions regarding policies. The board discussed the sick leave policy. Mr. Guice entertained that a motion be made regarding the discussed changes. Bill Marionneaux moved to make the changes to the sick leave policy as discussed, Dorothy Brown made the second and all were in favor. The annual leave policy was discussed and suggestions made for changes. The board asked the secretary to prepare an annual leave policy with the discussed changes that would then be considered at a called meeting to be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 9:00 a.m.
At 10:00 a.m. the board discussed the proposed budget for 2019 that had been made available for public inspection and notice given to the Franklin Sun. Mr. Guice entertained that a motion be made regarding the 2019 budget. Dorothy Brown moved that the budget be adopted as presented and Jeanette Thompson second the motion and all were in favor. There being no other business the meeting was adjourned.

The 2019 budget for the Franklin Parish Library was adopted during a called Library Board meeting on December 3, 2018. Anyone wishing to review the detailed budget may do so at the Franklin Parish Library, 705 Prairie Street, Winnsboro, Louisiana during normal business hours.
Town of Wisner
The Town of Wisner Mayor Pro-Tem and Board of Alderman met in a special called meeting on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 5:30 P.M. at Wisner Town Hall.
Present: Mayor Pro-Tem Marc McCarty, Nettie Brown, Jo Caldwell, Thomas Lemle, and Clerk Courtney Tannehill
Absent: Mayor Thomas Moore, Roger Hilliard
Call to Order: Mayor Pro-Tem Marc McCarty called the meeting proceedings to order. Jo Caldwell led in prayer and Thomas Lemle in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Community Water Enrichment Fund – Discussion held. Resolution of support from the Town Council approving the 2018-2019 CWEF Application read aloud by Nettie Brown. Motion by Thomas Lemle, seconded by Jo Caldwell to adopt the CWEF Resolution. All in favor. Motion carried.
Municipal Water Pollution Prevention (MWPP) – Discussion held. Nettie Brown read aloud the MWPP Resolution. Motion by Nettie Brown, seconded by Thomas Lemle to adopt the resolution as presented. All in favor. Motion carried.
