Taste of Franklin

BETINA and Steven Reeves serve rice and gumbo at last year’s Taste of Franklin.

Tickets for a Taste of Franklin will go on sale today and will cost $25. The March 28 event will be held at River of Life Church in Winnsboro and starts at 6 p.m.

Vendor spots are still open but are quickly filling, organizers said.

The popular, annual event features area restaurants and home-based caterers and bakers. A Taste of Franklin is a way to promote local businesses by offering samples of the participant’s very best dishes.

Tickets may be purchased from any board member or from the Winnsboro-Franklin Chamber of Commerce office.

The event sells out early, so organizers are recommending people interested in the event to purchase their tickets soon.

For more information on how to participate or for a registration form to a Taste of Franklin call Deanie Collier, Chamber secretary, at 435-4488.
