Clerk issues same-sex marriage license

In light of the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling last week on same-sex marriage, Ouachita Parish Clerk of Court Louise Bond issued the area’s first marriage license to a same-sex couple on Monday.


Moore, Haydel unite in marriage

Beverly Carol Moore and Justin Marion Haydel were united in marriage on Saturday, the sixth of June, 2015, at five o’clock in the evening at Aspen Community Church in Aspen, Colorado.  Dr. David Uth, former pastor of First Baptist Church of West Monroe and current pastor of First Baptist Orlando, presided over the ceremony.

Despite sold-out HOF banquet, chances to meet Class of 2015 remain
