Ouachita Parish sheriff's deputies arrested a Bogalusa man on suspicion of criminal trespass last week after authorities received a complaint from a homeowner who said the suspect was walking in his yard, wearing only boxer briefs.
The complainant said she heard a noise outside her house and looked out a window to see a nearly naked man in her yard. She told him to leave several times, but he refused, she claimed.
Deputies arrived at the complainant's house and found Richard M. Duncan, 56, of 119 Old Superior Ave., Bogalusa, in the condition reported.
Duncan told deputies he was under the influence of methamphetamine, which he said he had smoked earlier.
The complainant had previously informed Duncan she was armed when he stepped onto her porch. After she said she had a gun, Duncan got off the porch but refused to leave. He said he was homeless and staying at a nearby trailer, though he could not show deputies the place.
He was booked at Ouachita Correctional Center and also charged with disturbing the peace through drunkenness.
