Ouachita Parish sheriff's deputies arrested a Monroe man on suspicion of disturbing the peace last week after authorities learned the suspect would not get off a bus in Monroe's First Transit public transport system.

The complainant told deputies that Dmarcus Dewayne Wade, 31, of 1115 Jackson St., Monroe, refused to get off the bus after he missed his stop location and “refused to pay again,” according to the June 11 arrest report.

The complainant told deputies that Wade made threats to batter him while approaching him.

Wade was booked at Ouachita Correctional Center
