Ouachita Parish sheriff's deputies arrested a Monroe man on suspicion of resisting an officer last month after authorities were notified of a disturbance on Palmwood Drive in Monroe.

After arriving on scene, deputies made contact with Otarius Demartez Ignont, 24, 102 Palmwood Drive, Monroe, who began screaming, “Come get me,” according to the March 22 arrest report.

Deputies reported observing Ignont lie down on the ground and roll across the front yard. Deputies apprehended him and placed him in handcuffs.

“When (deputies) asked (Ignont) what his name was, (Ignont) replied, 'F*** you,'” stated the arrest report.

Ignont was booked at Ouachita Correctional Center on the charge.
