Ouachita Parish sheriff's deputies arrested a Monroe woman on suspicion of resisting an officer by force and violence last week after two deputies served the suspect's daughter with a felony warrant.
Yolanda Charece Johnson, 38, of 3907 Pippin St., Monroe, was called by her daughter to come and take custody of children.
“A few (minutes) later, Johnson arrived and kicked open the (apartment) door striking a warrant deputy, yelling and cursing,” stated the June 4 arrest report. “Johnson again kicked the door back open into the deputy striking him again in addition (to) yelling and cursing, causing numerous (apartment) occupants to exit their (apartment).”
Deputies told Johnson she was under arrest but Johnson continued struggling and fighting with the deputies, according to the arrest report.
After a brief struggle, deputies took Johnson into custody and found marijuana inside her purse.
She was transported to Ouachita Correctional Center for booking.
“During the transport she made numerous comments that she wished all police would die in addition she told me she was going to defecate and urinate in my unit,” stated the arrest report.
Johnson was booked at OCC on suspicion of resisting an officer by force or violence, disturbing the peace, battery of a police officer, misrepresentation during booking, and possession of marijuana.
