Strauss Theater plans to conclude the 2018-2019 season with the international smash hit “Mamma Mia!” performances from April 25 through April 28, as well as May 3 to May 4.

“Mamma Mia!” is a feel-good musical that has captivated more than 60 million people around the globe. Audiences have fallen in love with the characters, “the enchanting story” and ABBA’s “timeless music,” making the production a show that has stood the test of time. 

The play was written by Catherine Johnson, with music and lyrics by Benny Andersson, Bjorn Ulvaeus, and Stig Anderson. Cherrie A. Sciro, Director of Louisiana Tech Concert Association and Coordinator of Theatre, will direct. Her broadway credits include “Song and Dance,” “Les Miserables,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Miss Saigon and Five Guys Named Mo,” just to name a few.
