All are invited to attend a special praise and worship service, featuring a bible message by Pastor Mathew Edavettal and his team, on Sunday, April 14, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Monroe Civic Center.

The service will take place in Bayou Room 1.

Edavettal has been serving the Lord Jesus Christ for over sixty years. He has evangelized, pastored, taught in Bible schools, and worked as a missionary, both in India and the U.S. Currently, he spends his time praying, studying the scriptures, and ministering the word of God. Each week Pastor Mathew shares the word of God with approximately 200 people (either directly or through the phone). He has authored two books in English: “End Time Preparations” and “A Sacrifice Prepared before the Foundation of the World.”

Edavettal was born on March 11, 1936 in Kerala, India. Currently he lives in Monroe with his wife Mercy. They have three children: Lal, a registered nurse, John, a physician, and Mathew (Junior), both a physician and doctorate. Edavettal and his wife have five grandchildren.
