The fourth annual Four Rivers Balloon Festival will be a two-day event May 17-18.
Gates will open on Friday, May 17, at 4 p.m. and the festival will remain open until 10 p.m. with vendors, food, live music, a balloon glow and tethered balloon rides.
New to the festival this year is a fireworks display at dark on Friday night.
On Saturday, May 18, gates open at 9 a.m. with vendors all day. There will be a variety of children's activities, including free jumper.
There will be live music all day from five area bands.
Pilots are scheduled to take to the skies for competition flights each morning at approximately 7-8 a.m. and evenings at 5 p.m. Tethered balloon rides will be available on Saturday (and a cheer performance from local youth and instructed by LSU cheerleader, P.J. Edwards.
Balloon glow at dusk and then high-energy dance music to close out the night until 10 p.m.
Ticket prices are $5 for Friday and $8 Saturday. No charge for children under 7.
