Mrs. Ruston Chase Brown

Guylan Paige Britt and Ruston Chase Brown were united in marriage on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at half past six in the evening at Jefferson Street United Methodist Church in Natchez, Mississippi. The Reverend John Kramer officiated the ceremony, while Dr. David Goldblatt provided the music on the organ.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Britt of Monterey. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bairnsfather of Monterey and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Britt of Newellton.

The groom is the son Mr. and Mrs. Dave Pace and the late Mr. Barr Brown. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hollingworth.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a stitched ivory, elegant vintage lace gown in which the bodice gave way to a mermaid skirt with a chapel train length. She carried a bouquet consisting of white lilies, hydrangeas, alstroemerias lilies, roses, and Queen Anne’s lace.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was Jordan Leake. Bridesmaids were Whitney Arthur, Ellen Bairnsfather, Makayla Britt, Sarah Campbell, Julia Crigler, Joan Herring, Suzannah Ketchings, Anna Bet Roberts, Addison Smith, Maura Smith, Kristen Trant, and Kalynn Vegas. The flower girl was Sawyer Smith.

Cole Brown served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Scott Adams, Patrick Biglane, Elliot Britt, Jack Brown, Russ Butts, Jeff Cunningham, Elliot Meng, Field Meng, Davis Pace, Ryan Rachal, and Duran Sloan. Ring bearers were Ryder Smith and Landon Stapp.

Hanna Britt and Morgan McGee were readers for the wedding and Paul Schafer provided a song after the vows.

The program attendant was Laken Thompson.

Following the ceremony the bride’s parents hosted a reception at the Vidalia Convention Center.

After their honeymoon to Playa Mujeres, Cancun, the couple will reside at their home in Covington.
