Concordia Parish Library, Vidalia Gardening Club, and the LSU AgCenter are partnering to bring spring gardening programs to the community. On Thursday, May 19, at 5:30 p.m., Marcie Mathews from LSU AgCenter will be presenting, “Landscaping Guidance for Every Yard,” at the Vidalia Library.

Ms. Mathews, Assistant Horticulture Agent, will be teaching the basic rules of landscaping. No matter how big or small your project, all basic design rules, and guidelines can still be applied to achieve the desired result; a beautiful landscape that suits your needs and lifestyle. Learn which plants work best in our area, including Louisiana Super Plants and Louisiana native plants, and which invasive plants to stay away from.

Concordia Parish Library, Vidalia Gardening Club, and LSU AgCenter invite you to enjoy and learn more about our natural world on Thursday, May 19th at the Vidalia Library. This program will be brought to the community free of charge and open to the public. For further information, please call 318-757-3550.
