May Golden Broom

Members of the Ferriday Garden Club road the streets of Ferriday to find the winner of the May Golden Broom.  It was an easy decision when they drove by the Ferriday Presbyterian  Church. Grounds were neat and litter free.  Most improved went to the Concordia Parish Health Center on Mickey Gilly Avenue for their newly prepared flower bed.   Rufus Baptist Church,  also on Mickey Gilly Avenue earned Honorable Mention. Congratulations to these Ferriday businesses.  Trash has become a problem in our community, let's "Pick it up Ferriday." Clyde Ray Webber, pastor of the Ferriday Presbyterian Church, is pictured holding the May Golden Broom.
