Two Concordia Parish men have been sentenced in Seventh Judicial District Court for sex crimes against juveniles.
Both Charles M. Anderson III and Brent Anthony Shuff pled guilty to the charges against them in separate cases.
Anderson, age 25, 318 MLK Boulevard Ferriday, was charged last year with one count of sexual battery.
He pled guilty Jan. 25 and received an eight-year Department of Corrections sentence by Judge John Reeves. The sentence stipulates that Anderson must serve the eight years without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence.
District Attorney Brad Burget said it was alleged that Anderson inappropriately touched a 10-year-old girl over her clothes.
In a second case, Shuff, age 27, 120 Wesley Lane, Vidalia, pled guilty to indecent behavior with a juvenile.
Burget said Shuff allegedly fondled a nine-year-old girl and attempted to force her to touch him inappropriately, which she refused to do.
Shuff was arrested September 9, 2018, and pled guilty as charged before Judge Reeves on Jan. 16.
Reeves sentenced Shuff to seven years with DOC, two without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence.
