FP sweeps General Trass

Franklin Parish swept a pair of games with General Trass Nov. 26.

The Franklin Parish boys defeated General Trass 66-37.

Chucky Martin led the Patriots with 18 points.

"I think this team is coming along," said Franklin Parish coach Terry Martin. "We have to get better defensively. We've got a couple of new additions still learning. We're going to be all right."

The Lady Patriots picked up their first win of the season by cruising past General Trass 60-16.

"We finally played a decent game," said Lady Patriot coach Cassandra Wiley. "We certainly needed this win. It's a good confidence boost for us."

Ka'Daja Hanks led Franklin Parish with 15 points, while Shemira Boley-Brown and Laki Crockett scored 11 each.

Franklin Parish's boys fell to Lincoln Prep 70-65 on November 27.

Franklin Parish faced Richwood Tuesday.

The Patriots and Lady Patriots face Madison and Delta Charter this week in the Tensas Tournament.
