Glenda Sue Robinson
Funeral services for Glenda Sue Robinson, 72, of Gilbert, will be 2 pm Thursday, March 21, 2019, in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home with Rev. Bubba Ezell, Rev. Paul Perry, and Rev. Michael Hunter Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Jigger of Garden of Memories. Visitation will be 5 - 9 pm Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at the funeral home.
Glenda Sue was born March 13, 1947, to the union of Iley Rice and Ruby Bell Bailey Rice and passed from this life on March 18, 2019, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe.
Mrs. Robinson enjoyed watching red birds, and coloring as her past time. She was Aunt Sue to everyone. She also wanted to make sure John was taken care of .
She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, John Wayne Robinson Jr. ; two sisters: Aline Wheeler and Oneda Varnell; two brothers Richard and Gerald Rice.
Survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband John Robinson of Gilbert; her son, Mark Robinson and wife Anita of Jigger; one grandson, Brandon Robinson of Jigger; one granddaughter, Jeanna Robinson Ezell and husband Bubba of Gilbert; one great granddaughter Kerrigan Ezell; one brother Stanley Rice; numerous nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Howie Robinson, Justin Robinson, Michael Hunter Robinson, Ray Robinson, C. L. Robbins and David Varnell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Lee Robbins, Steve Varnell, and Gary "Stick" Williams.

Lora Womack Goodman
Funeral service for Lora Womack Goodman, 86, of Winnsboro, were held Thursday, March 14, 2019, in the chapel of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home, with Rev. Ron Ferrington officiating. Burial followed in Chase Cemetery, under the direction of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro.
Mrs. Goodman, a retired office manager from the Department of Transportation and Development, was born on July 4, 1932, in Huttig, Ark., to the union of Horace Womack and Juanice Williams Womack, and passed from this life on March 11, 2019, in Winnsboro.
She is preceded in death by her father, Horace Womack; mother, Juanice Womack Tripp; husband, Cleve Goodman; son, Chuck Goodman; son-in-law, Tim McBroom; and grandsons, Joe Edward Beard and Eric Michael Beard.
Survivors left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debbie Goodman Beard and Phyllis Watson (Randy); daughter-in-law, Diane Jowers Goodman; grandchildren, Michelle Aymond (Wesley), Lauren Smith (Andy), Ashley Whittington (Jason), Misty Goodman, and Alex Goodman; 11 great-grandchildren; special friends, Don and Diane Ferrington; Tommy and Kim Kimbrough; the Plantation Manor Nursing Home Family; and a host of family and friends.
Even though we have lost one of the most caring, loving women you could ever meet, we are comforted with the memories she leaves with us. Her passion for preparing meals for her family and friends will always be cherished. Her dedication and devotion she displayed for her pastor and her church family at Magnolia Baptist Church will forever leave an impact on the hearts of those who knew her. The ones she taught Sunday School and vacation Bible School will continue to grow from the seeds that were planted from her service to the Lord.

Funeral services for Pyper Hollyn Gauthier infant daughter of Chad and Rebecca Gauthier of Crowville were held Sunday, March 17, 2019, in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Owens, Rev. Paul Perry and Ronnie Poole officiating. Burial followed at Harris Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home.
Pyper received her angel wings March 14, 2019. She is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents Earl and Bobbie Walker, Steve Cader and Jessie Cotton; paternal great-grandparents Jimmy Beckley, Jack Wallace and Ores Gauthier.
She is survived by her father Chad Michael Gauthier and mother Rebecca Lynn Cader Gauthier; by her maternal grandparents Mack and Vicky Walker Kirksey; and Lynn and Naomi Cader; paternal grandparents Angela Beckley, Jody Henderson and Terry Dale Gauthier; maternal great-grandparents Ella Cotton and Rev. Paul and Sue Perry; paternal great-grandparents Ruby Beckley and Leza Gauthier; aunt and Godmother Savannah Cader.
Pallbearers were Kevin Kelly and John Duncan.

Hazel Cobb Mattoon
Funeral services for Hazel Cobb Mattoon, 99, of Winnsboro, a retired Civil Service secretary were held Saturday, March 16, 2019, in the Chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home. Burial followed in New Winnsboro Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mattoon was born to the union of her parents Joseph and Dovie Brabham Cobb on June 1, 1919 in Gilbert, and passed from this life on March 13, 2019, at the age of 99.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Winnsboro. She enjoyed traveling and always dressed her best for every occasion.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Elihu Mattoon; brother James Cobb and sisters: Helen Franklin and Inez “Brownie” Griffing.
Mrs. Mattoon is survived by one sister: Dot C. Curtis of Winnsboro; best friend Carley Kiper of Peck, and numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Curt Curtis, Dylan Curtis, Layton Curtis, Luke Curtis, Mike Curtis, Bill Griffing, Grant Johns, Myles Johns.

Funeral services for James Pleasant, 72, of Winnsboro were held Sunday, March 17, 2019, at St. John Baptist Church. Burial followed at Gethsemane Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home.
Mr. Pleasant died March 12, 2019, at Franklin Medical Center.
Survivors include a son, Gregory Pleasant, Baton Rouge; daughters: Shelia Pleasant Cameron, Elecia Foy and Felicia Johnson, all of Winnsboro; father, Jethro Pleasant, Winnsboro; sister, Peggy Taylor, Maywood, Illinois; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; special granddaughter, Keneshia Boley, Winnsboro; special friend, Gladys McMahon, Winnsboro; mother-in-law, Flora Westbrook, Chicago; three sisters-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends of Betty Sue Sutherlin McIntyre, will gather to celebrate her life Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Hammack officiating. Interment will follow in Andrews North Cemetery.
Ms. McIntyre, formerly of Franklin Parish, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019, in Andrews. She was born Jan. 2, 1944, to Curtis and Inez Sutherlin.
She is survived by two brothers; two grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
