Ouachita Parish made its mark on the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association All-State baseball teams, claiming three individual and two coaching awards.

Ouachita Christian senior catcher Clint Hargrave is the Class 1A Hitter of the Year, while Trey Rugg of Sterlington and Austin Acree of Claiborne Christian were tabbed as Pitcher of the Year for Class 3A and Class C, respectively. Rugg and Hargrave were also recently named as the Outstanding Players for Class 3A and 1A by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.

Mark Sims of Sterlington and John Parker of OCS were chosen as LABC co-Coaches of the Year after piloting their teams to the state championship.
