Ouachita Parish sheriff's deputies arrested a Shreveport woman on suspicion of battery of a police officer earlier this month after authorities were dispatched to Glenwood Behavior Unit because of a disturbance.
At the facility, an employee said McKenzie Brown, 19, of Shreveport, punched her in the leg and arm. The deputy observed large red mark on the employee's left arm.
A deputy made contact with Brown, who said, “I am about to take your gun and shoot you in the head with it,” according to the Sept. 19 arrest report.
The deputy tried to handcuff Brown, but she pulled away, according to the arrest report.
“(Another deputy) grabbed one of McKenzie's arms, at which time McKenzie punched him and attempted to bite his left arm,” stated the arrest report.
She was booked at Ouachita Correctional Center.
